When I was a kid, 1989-ish, we had this spring green wallpaper with thin white vertical pinstripes on it. If I stared at it just right, with relaxed peripheral vision, I could trick my mind in seeing the lines coming towards me, right off the wall. Then I'd slowly weave my fingers through the optical illusion, as if I was playing a harp. Ohh the days before internet. The Magic Eye books came out a few years after that, and I was all in. (Who's a 90's kid) I notice I do that same relaxed peripheral vision thing when I art, unintentionally, it just happens. Maybe it helps me keep things proportional, or my shadows consistent, idk. This @littlelincolnlog is really funtastic to work on, especially with my new Derwent Drawing pencils. They are soft, pigmented, a little chalky (?), they sharpen well and this Chinese White is perfect for whiskers. I liiiike it!
