FULL DAY OF EATING ⬇️ You guys asked so here we go! 7:30 am: ACV + fresh lemon mixture (see story highlight on how I make) and then decaf coffee with almond milk. I stopped drinking #caffeine 3 years ago and feel better without (both anxiety and #digestion). . 10 am: skyr plain (high protein) yogurt with fruit, nut butter, and waffles. I always aim to have a complex carb source like oats, cream of wheat, sprouted toast or whole grain waffles (instead of just fruit for carbs) + generous portion of fat + protein source at breakfast. Something like yogurt & fruit would not keep me full. . 1 pm: sautéed spinach, onion and organic feta full egg + egg white omelette with sprouted grain toast covered in creamy natural PB & homemade raspberry chia jam (I also use regular ol’ jelly). . 4 pm: + handful of raw almonds . 8 pm: balsamic grilled chicken, zoodles x 3 with pesto and parm , air-fried mushrooms, prepped brown rice . 9 pm: choc chip cookie dough ice cream bar + 2-3 handfuls grain-free granola from giveaway yesterday (unpictured) . Other FAQs I wanted to answer: I typically eat 3 larger meals and 2 small/medium meals. If I’m hungry, I honor that and tend to add more to my meals instead of snacking. I listed times but this can vary! I don’t know how many calories this is but aim to eat over 2200 because that works for my metabolism . I work for a few hours in the morning before I eat anything as that works with my schedule working from home. I eat after 7 pm and haven’t gained weight I eat more veggies than fruits and I eat a lot of fat ➡️Whats your fave meal from this day? What other meal plan tips would help you? #dietitiandeanna

We are constantly looking for science and evidence to show us what we should and shouldn’t do. We have lost touch with listening to our own bodies. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ If we look at nature we have all the evidence we need. Our own anatomy is perfect for digesting meat. Our digestive systems are a tiny bit more complicated than a carnivores. This means we primarily are meat eaters but can also digest some plant foods ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ If we were meant to eat plant based diets than why are plant vitamins not very bio-available for the human body and have to be converted into the right form. Animals in nature that eat mostly plant foods have very complicated digestive systems to break down these foods. We have very simple digestive systems ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ In nature herbivores graze and grind food all day however humans are more like carnivores. We prey, eat, rest and repeat this process. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I am not saying we are exactly the same as carnivores, but we have very similar characteristics and features. I think plant foods can be part of a healthy diet but we need to prepare them in more digestible ways ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Mother Nature gives us clues about what we designed to eat ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ #yes2meat #gutbrainconnection #ancestralhealing #westonaprice #carnivorediet #ketodiet #lowcarb #zerocarb #meatheals #paleolifestyle #digestion #foodlies #ketolifestyle #nutrientdense #holistichealing #organmeats #fatsolublevitamins #ketotransformation ⁣⁣⁣

Your body is becoming inflamed to stop further damage from occurring ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Many doctors will give you anti-inflammatory drugs which can help with the pain. But you are not dealing with the root cause. If you keep doing the thing that caused the inflammation then it will keep coming back ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ You need to find and treat the root cause of it and then your body will stop becoming inflamed ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ All these gut disease all have “itis” at the end of each name. This just means inflammation. Therefore you are injuring a certain part of the gut which is causing it to become inflamed ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ How To Find The Root Cause Of Inflammation? ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Each person will have different root causes of inflammation but here are some common causes ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️Excess sugar ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️Vegetable oils ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Eating too much ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Eating hard to digest foods ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Pathogens ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Plant anti nutrients ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Too much fibre ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Smoking ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⚡️ Alcohol ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #inflammation #chronicdisease #guthealthmatters #gutbrainaxis #ketolifestyle #paleolifestyle #carnivorediet #gutbrainconnection #healyourgut #selfhealers #lowcarb #digestion #rootcause #functionalmedicine #holistichealing #ancestralhealing #antiinflammatory

There's not one person over 15 who HASN'T tried a diet of some sort. Heck, even my dad has gone on a diet. We've all tried it, and many opted for the low cal, low carb, sugar free, fat free chemical filled diet foods. I even used to buy those Lean Cuisine frozen dinners back in my teens *thinking* they were healthy without even checking ingredients.‍♀️ . HOW DIETING CAN CAUSE IBS: Diet Foods - they're filled with chemicals to replace the fat, carbs, and calories (aka: energy) in an item. Those chemicals wreck havoc on your digestive system and even kill off good gut bacteria and mess with your microbiome. Restriction - Let's just say you were eating fresh foods (no packed junk), restriction can still cause IBS because it messes with your metabolism. In turn, your body starts eating itself (really), and your intestinal walls begin to wither. "Healthier" Options - I was mislead prior to my severe flare. I used to buy whatever was "it" in the health food industry (items with stevia, allulose, natural flavors, too much fiber, fat free, peanut based snacks, 300 cal ice cream pints, proteins bars - etc) and they all claimed to be clean, "all natural", no preservatives, yada yada. So even when we *think* we are doing good for our bodies, we are tearing down our gut WHICH OPENS UP THE DOORS TO DIGESTION ISSUES. . The above combined are the perfect set-up for IBS. Not saying this IS the cause, but a common factor in today's society. Stress, lack of sleep, fast food, auto-immune, etc. can also contribute. There is a time and a place for diets to meet special nutritional needs for each person and no one person is the same. My point is that packaged "diet foods" are breaking down our gut.....and even "healthy", organic, non-GMO labeled items are misleading millions. So next time you reach for a "diet option".....think, is it worth it? I’d much rather eat real sugar than chemicals ❤️✌ #lilsipper
