We get caught up in chasing more, chasing wealth, chasing a dream of the life we want, chasing becoming the person our dream life deserves. In that chasing we miss out on the life we have here and now - the present moment. Let’s get caught up in living rather than “earning” our living.

My art is an expression of my deep rooted love of nature and all its wonders, we are blessed to live a short skip from an enchanted forest here in the North of England, where I spend most of my days exploring and dreaming up creations, i’m a self proclaimed bookworm too and if I’m not tiptoeing through the undergrowth you’ll find me pouring over the pages of dusty old treasured books of the old ways.. Timeless sagas from the world over, folklore, mythology, tree lore, legends, ancient civilisations, etc which inspire my creations further. I’ve been lucky to have travelled much of this amazing planet with my love of 14 years, Fraser ..After meeting picking strawberries in Denmark all those moons ago, together we’ve explored many a Mayan ruin, dipped our toes in the sacred Ganges, watched the sunrise over Everest, got lost in the souks of Morocco and on our most recent European adventures, chasing the northern lights around Iceland, an allusive enigma they remain.. It’s a dream to live a sustainable life, growing our own veggies and living in harmony with nature whilst creating my art and travelling to remote corners of Mother Earth, it really means the world to me that you support this dream too so thank you for being here! I love looking back on old work. Each piece becomes a little time capsule of emotions and moments, scents and daydreams, all intertwined and knotted up into something beautiful. . I embroidered this little patch just before I got pregnant with Daelu. I look at this and I can smell the cherimoya dye bath I made to dye the vintage linen base. I can feel the scratchy fabric of the vintage couch I sat on while I stitched. And I can feel so clearly the dreams I was dreaming. . 19-12-90's baby I think having my birthday in December brings forth some sort of mixed feelings.One part of me is elated and the other is like hey have you achieved this?Have you achieved that? Blah blah.Uncle/Aunty in my head leave me alone, I'm thankful for the ones I have done and God has been faithful.
