Energy is everything! At least to me ✨ • I will almost always find a way to attend an event where a) women I admire are speaking & b) I know I’m going to leave feeling inspired & wanting more for my life. • Yesterday’s @prescriptionselfcare event gave me all the feels. I’m still processing some of them, but while they’re fresh in my mind here are 3 takeaways that spoke to me: • ✨ Failure is often a win but it’s sometimes disguised - @caleighfit All I can say is yes x 1000. I used to beat myself up when I did something “wrong”. Now, I feel like if I’m not making mistakes, I’m not learning. Failure IS a win, but you first have to shift your mind to see it that way. • • ✨ Ask yourself- how does it really make you feel? - @cassiedayyy This question is one I learned to ask myself at a young age. I was in and out of hospitals a lot as a teenager. The downside was that I was sick, a lot. The upside was that I learned a lot about my body in a very short time. If there is ONE thing everyone should start doing, it’s asking yourself how you’re feeling; not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Check in with yourself. • • ✨ We need to understand that everything we do is interconnected - @training2xl 1000% true. A car cannot function optimally if there’s a piece that’s not working properly (sorry, J talks a lot about cars lol I hope this analogy makes sense). So often we forget that our bodies work the same. If we’re not sleeping well, eating well, taking time alone to check in with ourselves, we cannot perform optimally.
