I’ve been thinking about the call on my life a lot lately. The call on Christ followers and what it means to report to one, Jesus. It’s humbling, stretching, and at times incredibly hard. I’ve heard things like: “You’re judgmental. You’re not loving. You’re mean. You’re too conservative. You’re not understanding our culture.” To describe Christians who stand on the foundation of the Bible. ...But death. Death will come, and then we will be face to face with Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine standing in front of Him and giving an account for things that are ungodly. I am becoming Christ like each day, I haven’t yet arrived...but I do know the call on my life is to stay true to the word of God, to stand convicted to the core. When it hurts, when many disagree, when culture says I’m irrelevant- I’ll stay convicted. I’ll stay rooted.
