Catching the evening light... Designed by Helena Tynell (1918-2016), in 1963. The Aurinkopullo, or Sun bottle vase became a popular design of Tynell's. The first vases were produced in clear glass only, but as the popularity of the design grew it was eventually produced in at least 17 further colours. Produced in 4 sizes, the one here is the smallest of the 4 sizes made. You can see the attachment post on the coils and the cups, It keeps you heat away from the thinner parts ( coils ). Things still got too hot and moved on me. With 2 points of attachment it helps when you go work in your seals. Hoping this helps, seeing some of the assembly process. Glass guitar group photo! Sometimes I wonder how many all glass guitars even exist. As far as I know I’m the only person making these currently. I’m Working on getting various things in order and developing a launch plan. I think by the end of the month I’ll be ready to start taking custom orders. So stay tuned for that :)
