Totally forgot to post that yesterday I got to my goal weight of 160 pounds! My realistic goal weight was 170, 160 was unrealistic to me. I’m still kind of shocked by the number on the scale. I’m so excited to see what else I can accomplish. I’m not going to focus so much on losing weight anymore, I really want to focus on toning. Forever grateful for my tool. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hello #weighinthursday ... I as figured I did not lose anything this week .. but there was not a gain... so I'm going to celebrate that! I'm starting to see a difference... small difference..but it is there.

Obviously if you’re REALLY focusing on losing weight, you’re best bet is to weigh your food so that you know EXACTLY what you’re putting in your body. Sometimes this isn’t easy though and you’ve got to decide on portions on the fly, so I’d recommend saving this for future reference

Don’t worry about the calories in vegetables - they are mostly water and vitamins

#3 - You start to be able to workout a little harder! You've added weight to your exercises. You're getting through your workouts easier. The healthy eating isn't as bad as you thought it would be. You start to lose some weight!!

To cleanse or not to cleanse. When is it right for your body?⠀

Cleansing can be amazing for some people, but not for everybody. ⠀
⠀
There have been so many phases in my journey when cleansing has NOT been for me. ⠀
•when my relationship with food was struggling ⠀
• when all it did was lead to more eating ⠀
• when I had the thought “I can eat this ____ and then cleanse tomorrow” ⠀
⠀
All of those reasons told me I wasn’t doing it for my health. ⠀
⠀
When I cleanse best⠀
•is when my relationship with my body is generally positive and stable⠀
• my nutrition has been consistent ⠀
• when my days are light on stress
• when I need more energy⠀
⠀
I also do modified cleanse days. I don’t do true cleanses because they are too low in calories for me. But I have a little extra and still get a ton of benefits. ⠀

Y’all.. this is embarrassing to even talk about but today I realized I don’t wear a “fat sucker” anymore! When I weighed 347 lbs I refused to leave my house without a compression tank top on because in my mind it made me look skinnier. ♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️
Standing in this mirror looking at myself with SHORTS on, I realized I don’t wear my “fat sucker” anymore! I’m comfortable just in my skin without feeling like I need a contraption holding me together. You don’t understand the mental barrier that thing had on me. I remember calling out of work because I didn’t have one clean and forgot to wash it. It was THAT BAD!
So I’m celebrating because I’m happy, healthy, and getting my fine girl on WITHOUT needing a top to make me feel worthy!

I was just tired of feeling bad about myself. I browsed the keto subreddits and was inspired by all the transformation pics I saw and figured if THEY could do it, so could I. So I just started.
