Doing fitness 'right'. I went through the first few years of my fitness journey thinking that I had to do certain things to be doing fitness right, from hours of cardio (my first idea of 'fitness') to training certain parts of my body on specific days, regardless of how I was feeling, to enforcing training and rest days, no matter how energetic or tired I was feeling. Sure, I was fit, but I was also tired, constantly injured and often falling out of love with fitness. . Over the years I've learned that the best way to move is just whichever way suits you best, be it long countryside walks, power lifting or tennis. Conforming to some trend in the hope that it'll be the magic pill to health and happiness is a naievity I definitely bought in to, but am happy to have escaped. some weeks I train everyday, others I train twice, but all weeks I am doing whatever I feel is best for my body and my mind, and o feel like this way of 'fitness' is something I could keep up until I die have you ever felt the need to train in a certain way? . A big pile of green ammonites ready to be packed up for the Oxford show tomorrow (a few are already sold but I couldn't resist including them in the pile!)
