Beauty v.s. Functionality. What do you prioritize? This is always at the forefront of my mind when I’m styling. In a perfect world, these two would be happily married and everything in my home would be both beautiful and functional. But that’s not always the case. I think for me beauty is usually #1. I’m highly effected by my aesthetic so the way something looks and if I enjoy looking at it really matters to me. But living in under 1000 square feet has forced me to find a better balance between the two. I rearranged my desk area today, and feel like we found a happy medium! I have some storage in that little basket up top as well as inside the drawers, but I still made room for my plant babies and thrifted artwork. It’s a constant challenge finding a happy medium, but one that I alway enjoy. My very first men’s refashion piece! . When my husband chose this $4 men’s shirt from @goodwillky as my next refashion piece, I have to admit I was a bit nervous! I’ve never worked with men’s clothing before! But, holy smokes, it turned out so stinking cute! Pretty sure I’m going to be working with a lot of men’s shirts in the future.

So I didn’t do enough research .but that’s ok! It was a new to me brand . It had a lot of wear on buttons ( black color coming off ) I didn’t find the style online in my quick searched but assessed it was prob originally around $600. . Someone asked a question asking if it was the scuba jacket . Then immediately made an offer. I took the offer. . Then looked up style she asked about . Well sure as shit it’s the Scuba jacket still selling for full price in stores for $600. ( I thought this was an older piece ) . So that’s why it sold in less then 24 hrs . Haven’t been in the thrifting mood lately. I’ve had a lot going on in my personal life and haven’t been motivated to post on here but yesterday my boyfriend’s mom went thrifting with me and we found a few gems.
