Soon after moving back to the states from Hawaii, I embarked on a 4000+ mile journey through California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. Out of all of the pictures I captured, this is my favorite. I was hiking in Kings Canyon when this little dude came onto the trail from the meadow and stopped on this small bridge. I slowly took out my camera and captured this photo before he continued on his own journey. A great moment I’ll never forget

I’ve had the opportunity to bike this road nine times. Saturday was the first time I had a chance to get to Logan Pass, so we packed up the bikes (and touring gear), and sent it north for the weekend. Due to unfortunate circumstances, it’s already smoky AF in Montana - so much, to the point of not being able to see mountains while you’re in the mountains we pulled up to the road closure around 5pm, and it started to rain. After about 15 minutes, the rain stopped and the majority of the smoke had cleared out of the valley. What followed was something straight out of a dream. We had the entire thing to ourselves, and witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Love this place.
