What started out as a leisurely 2k stroll through the park with these two monkeys & the turned into an ultra marathon #adventureswithgrandma yesterday oh my . . And no we didn't get lost in the woods.. we somehow got trapped in a, er ah, subdivision cul-de-sac . . Still not quite sure how it happened . . I thought I knew the way . . After leaving the park trail, we simply had to wind through a few residential streets to make the loop back to the playground and our car...easy peasy, i had even glanced at Google maps . . But I knew we were in trouble when my youngest grand daughter Maeva, pointed to a lady working in her yard and asking if it was the same lady we saw a long long time ago... . . You think at this point the easiest thing to do would have been just to ask the lady where the main road was, but nooooooo, embarrassment, pride, or stubbornness, not sure but I couldn't admit Gramma screwed up...oh gawd #grammafail . . Instead I went back to google maps and with 3% battery left on phone, I typed and prayed to google to get us the He** outta there...it did and we were saved . .
