I need to remember this quote! Today was a long exhausting day. Last night I was planning to go to the gym but decided to have a quick nap before going out. This nap turned into a 13 hr sleep! This is more than double my usual sleep that I get! I woke up feeling guilty for being lazy... I was already in my gym clothes so I went straight there. I went for a run and as I got off the treadmill I got all dizzy and fell. I blacked out for only about a minute i think. Staff were called. They wanted to call the ambulance but I refused. They gave me a Gatorade which I refused at first but then I did feel better with it. A staff member drove me home. They have told me though that since I have had two similar incident reports I can’t go back until I get a GP to write a letter for medical clearance!!!!! i know my GP won’t do this for me so I think I will just get another GP from another practice i just can’t not go to the gym just yet. Another news that really hit me today... I was talking to my older sister about our trauma and she told me something about our mum. She told me that our mum had suffered from child abuse. I won’t say what kind of abuse but I honestly could not believe what I heard. I feel like all of a sudden I don’t know my mum. This huge secret had never been mentioned to me. Inter-generational trauma is actually a thing. I am only starting to learn about it. Have you ever wanted to do something, but held back out of fear? . The other day I did a mini photoshoot with a friend of mine in his large studio, just me in front of the camera. . It was way outside my comfort zone-- like wayyyy outside. But I did it. And you know what, I actually loved it. . I'm not striving to become the next IG model, but being in front of the camera is a necessary step to build my business-- as uncomfortable as it may be. . In the past I would have told myself that I need to lose more weight before taking pictures or a number of other excuses out of fear. . Fear of being seen. Fear of being ridiculed. Fear of being rejected. . But I have decided that the only persons opinion that really matters is my own. And I'd rather show up and be brave then allow my fear (in any area of my life) hold me back! . What decisions can make to reflect your hopes? . #makeittonap
