The Trans-Catalina had been on our bucket list for a long long time. Every year there was some reason we couldn't do it: timing, logistics, something always came up. In fact, a few weeks before this trip, we were considering not doing it because we had too much going on. Seriously, ‍♂️TF ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But we committed, we did it, and we loved every minute of it. All the excuses, the doubt, the endless dithering, all seems so silly now. We've never made an effort to go on a trip like this and regretted it after. For us, it has always been worth it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So if you have a dream hike or bucket list trip you've been putting off for a while, tell us about it in the comments. Angel’s Landing: The best time to do this hike is either early morning or late afternoon because you’ll want to avoid the crowds! Otherwise, you’ll be stuck hiking narrow ledges with strangers, with nothing but a steep 1000+ ft drop on either side! While I struggled with the height a bit (or maybe a lot), it was more the amount of people that I had to cross that made me nervous! Hands down, still THE best hike I’ve ever done .
