I've been wanting to do a day at the beach in vintage bathing costumes for a while now. So last weekend, my love and I did just that! It was sooooo much fun! His mom gave me the pattern for my dress at Christmas and I drafted my own pattern for his outfit. (More on both of those things later) I captured some of our time there in a silent film style video. Wearing a ca. 1919-1920 ensemble today. My blouse is the Elsie blouse pattern from @wearinghistory and it was so cute and quick to make that I'm already thinking of sewing a more modern version for everyday wear. I've got to say, 2019 has been a really productive year so far - I think I've already made more outfits than the entire previous year - but I'm looking forward to three months with no deadlines now.
