West Philly Sunrise. . I’ve wanted this shot for a long time and I finally got the motivation to do a night trip to philly shooting from night to sunrise and taking the bus back to NY early morning. Третий понедельник января - государственный праздник в США. День Мартина Лютера Кинга. Нет, не того Кинга, который писал книги, а тот который боролся за права чернокожих (и очень успешно). Поэтому сегодня, в выходной - режим ‘Гуляй, Вася, жуй опилки’. . Кстати, один из первых советов после приезда в Штаты был никогда не говорить в обществе слово «ниггер». Для темнокожего населения это крайняя степень унижения, достойная агрессии или даже получения по физиономии. Групповое оскорбление ("ниггер" = «черномазый») имеет силу именно оскорбления только тогда, когда тот, кто его произносит, сам к этой группе не относится. Все тянется к истокам, когда чёрное население были рабами, позже, например, ходили в отдельные кафе и туалеты и, вовсе, имели отдельные, соответствующие места в автобусе. Именно в то время их так называли белые. . Самое интересное, что друг с другом чёрные могут позволить себе называть друг друга как угодно. Когда оба собеседника относятся к одной и той же дискриминируемой группе, оскорбление теряет силу. Спустя столько времени, некоторые темнокожие до сих пор чувствуют дискриминацию. Но это не вопрос государственной политики, а, скорее, их личного выбора. Месяца 4 назад стоял с приятелями около офиса, подошёл чёрный бездомный, попросил денег, потом начал их требовать, после полученного утвердительного отказа начал орать на всю улицу «Это что, потому что я чёрный?» - с максимальным нецензурным эмоциональным окрасом. Провокация в чистом виде. Только прийдя домой, я подумал, что мне, видимо, стоило в ответ кричать на всю улицу «Ты просишь у меня бабки, потому что я белый?».
