Berry & Lemon Crostata one of my FAVORITE desserts from my time I lived in Italy was a crostata. My host mom would make it with fresh figs ... it was not too sweet and it paired PERFECTLY con un cafe americana. Now, I use seasonal fruits and vegetables to make le crostate.
Dough Recipe:
1 c almond flour (or other fine flour)
1/2 c coconut oil - cold but not hard
3 to 5 tbsp ice water
1/8 tsp pink salt
Filling:
1 1/2 cup fruit
1 lemon, juice & zest
1 tbsp coconut sugar *optional
1 egg for egg wash
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse flour & salt. Then add chunks of oil and pulse until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add 1 tbsp ice water to flour mixture at a timr, pulsing until moist clumps form, stopping to test the dough w/ fingertips to see if it holds together. If dough is dry, add 1 tbsp more ice water as needed until dough forms a ball. Refrigerate dough for 15- 20 mins. Mix filling ingredients in bowl. Roll out dough to 1/4 in thick and place flat in a 9-inch glass pie plate or on a large baking sheet, greased with coconut oil or lined with parchment Add filling to center and fold over dough into the center (it should be messy looking). Scramble egg & brush onto dough edges. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes or until dough is golden & fruit bubbles. Allow to cool & top w/ lemon zest. Serve at room temp.

مواد لازم
۱ ۱/۲ کاپ ارد
۱ ۱/۲ ق چ بیکینگ پودر
۱/۴ ق چ نمک
۳/۴ کاپ یا ۱۷۰ گرم کره نرم شده
۱ کاپ شکر
۳ عدد تخم مرغ بزرگ ( در دمای اتاق باشن)
۱/۲ ق چ پوست لیمو رنده شده
۱/۴ ق چ وانیل
۴ عدد هلو رسیده ، پوست گرفته و نگینی درشت کات کنید،حدود ۲ و ۱/۴ کاپ هلو خرد شده میشه
پودر شکر برای تزیین
طرز تهیه
فر رو روی دمای ۱۸۰ درجه سانتی گراد گرم کنید
قالب کیک کمر بازشو رو چرب کنید.
توی کاسه ارد ، بکینگ پودر و نمک رو الک کنید و هم بزنید.
توی کاسه بزرگ کره نرم شده و شکر رو روی درجه متوسط به مدت ۴ تا ۵ دقیقه با همزن برقی بزنید تا نرم و پفکی بشه.
سپس تخم مرغها رو یکی بعد دیگری روی همین درجه بزنید...بعد هر تخم مرغ خوب هم بزنید تا کاملا تخم مرغ با مواد مخلوط بشه.
خوب که مخلوط شد پوست لیمو و وانیل رو اضافه میکنید.
بعد با سرعت کم مخلوط ارد رو اضافه میکنید
تا خوب میکس بشه.
با لیسک هلوها رو داخل مایع کیک هم میزنید تا کاملا تکه های هلو با مخلوط قاطی بشن.
مواد رو داخل قالب چرب شده بریزید و به مدت ۱ ساعت و ۵ دقیقه بزارید بپزه .
بعد از پخت بزارید کاملا که خنک شد از قالب در بیارید و بعد روش پودر شکر بریزید و یه تکه ای از بهشت رو ببرید و با چای نوش جان کنید

Lemon Parsley Garlic Pan Chicken
Ready in less than 30 minutes! This dish will have you drooling over the aroma of three fabulous ingredients: lemon zest, fresh parsley and minced garlic. The light sauce is mouthwatering and full of flavour. This dish is best served over pasta or white rice. You'll be making it again!

INGREDIENTS:
◾3 large boneless chicken breasts, butterflied to create 6 thinner pieces (ensure that when you butterfly the pieces they are all the same thickness).
◾Salt/Pepper/Dry Oregano (to season chicken)
◾2 tablespoons of lemon zest
◾1/3 cup of chopped parsley
◾1 tablespoon of minced garlic
◾2 teaspoons lemon juice, divided
◾1 tablespoon of olive oil
◾1 tablespoon of butter
◾1 cup of chicken broth
.
DIRECTIONS:
️Butterfly chicken breast. Arrange on plate and season both sides as desired with salt, pepper and dry oregano. Set aside.
️In a bowl combine lemon zest, parsley, garlic and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix together well and set aside.
️On stovetop, heat olive oil on pan. Reduce to medium heat and add chicken. Cook for approximately 4 minutes on each side.
️Remove chicken from pan (set aside on a plate for a brief moment).
️Do not clean pan!
️Add butter to pan, reduce to low heat and add lemon/parsley/garlic mixture prepared earlier in the bowl. Mix well for 1 minute.
️Add chicken broth and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and bring to a simmer.
️Add chicken back to pan. Spoon sauce over top of chicken. Cover pan and simmer for approximately 4 minutes. Continue to simmer for 1 more minute uncovered.
️Serve over pasta or rice. Enjoy

Hibiscus Lemon Shortbread. Inspired by @bakingthegoods hibiscus shortbread recipe on @thefeedfeed, I took my shortbread recipe, added crushed @burlapandbarrel Egyptian desert hibiscus flower, lemon zest, and @amoretti lemon extract. To make the glaze, I followed Becky Sue’s instructions and steeped the hibiscus, coaxing out that gorgeous pink color to tint the icing. I mixed in lemon juice, powdered sugar and a pinch of salt.

My mamma’s lemon and pistachio biscotti. I love them with a short black but are just as lovely with a cup of tea. They come with a warning. You can’t stop at one!
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
2 to 3 eggs
Zest of 1 lemon
Half cup of caster sugar
1 cup of plain flour, sifted
1 cup of self-raising flour, sifted
1 cup of unsalted pistachios, shelled and roughly chopped
Method
Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees celcius.
Whisk eggs and sugar together. Add lemon zest. Then add the flour and nuts. Mix well. The dough should be stiff and dry. With floured hands and floured board, shape into a log and place on a lined baking tray. Bake for about 15 minutes or so. Take out of the oven and cool for about 5 to 10 minutes before slicing into biscuits of about 1cm thick. Return to oven until golden (about another 5 to 10 minutes). Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
***You can use other nuts, dark chocolate bits, orange zest, dried cranberries***

Name a more iconic duo, I’ll wait... I’m only half joking because even though it’s only been open around 50 days, this mini loaf of warm pull-apart bread from @crownshynyc / pastry chef @renataameni already seems iconic to me. It is visually striking and recognizable. It is a delicious looking beacon that called to me and made me want to try @crownshynyc and once trying it, the loaf has earned my adoration. In between the layers of the bread are little hidden gems of olive tapenade and the top of the loaf is sprinkled with lemon zest, black olive and brown butter. Paired with the salted labneh, it’s heaven. And it comes with your meal, which is just one of the many reason why I loved @crownshynyc . As I noted in my stories (pinned as a highlight), everything from the food to the service to the decor and space was exceptional. Thank you to @foodiemuse for securing a reservation and allowing me to share it with her!
