Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Camille et ceci est ma tête ! Quand j’ai créé mon compte Instagram , je ne savais pas du tout à quoi m’attendre. Je n’aime pas tellement les réseaux sociaux, ni leur principe ni la manière dont ils sont dirigés. Et lorsque je me suis inscrite sur Instagram pour montrer mes petites gravures, j’ai préféré par principe me cacher derrière un pseudonyme … Mais j’ai rapidement découvert l’un des intérêts d’Instagram, la possibilité de se constituer une expérience sur mesure. Oui, je sais, j’atterris. J’ai trouvé ici un espace d’échanges où je découvre tous les jours de nouveaux créateurs. Je peux suivre les travaux en cours de mes préférés et, comme tout le monde n’est pas maladivement timide, je découvre aussi la vie de gens que je connais sans connaître. C’est pour tout cela que je ressens le besoin aujourd’hui de faire ici un petit coucou (mais hors de question de trop en dévoiler) mais surtout de remercier les quelques 2000 personnes qui s’intéressent à mes petites gravures. And when I signed up on Instagram to show my small prints, I preferred to hide behind a pseudonym... Peel video! I made this print on both Japanese paper and a thicker British printmaking paper. The Japanese paper is so much more satisfying to peel. It gets really stuck on the block. . The print itself is about the street lighting being changed here in Edinburgh. I'll tell you more about it in my next post.
