I still remember the moment, when you promised me forever and held my hand, as if the heavens had carved you for only for me, as if your soul found solace in me, as if it was all a never ending beautiful dream. Yes, we often used to joke and taunt each other about leaving and staying busy with our life, but I wasn't aware of your desire to play the joke on me. I never even thought of doubting your genuineness, but my soul simply didn't agree. And you know what, I chose you over my intuition, my soul and my life, but you thought it to be a child's play, for I never portrayed the pain, and all of this, was just cause I loved you for the heaven you gifted me with your presence. And you didn't even think for a moment before shattering me into pieces. I sometimes wonder, about the pain you felt when you shattered your own self which resided in every atom of my heart, mind and soul. Well, sadly, I was right. You never felt the pain cause you never accepted me for who I was. It was then I realised that, "no matter how much ever you desire and love someone, they won't reciprocate it back until they truly care about you." Yes, I know you were excited for the relationship, but it was about everything else other than love, and that was the difference between us. And now, when you have left me all alone, I am glad I have time to think about myself and embrace this loneliness, which will answer my "why" to your "no". Your absence has taught me to not wait for the right one, but be the right one.
