Lifestyle changes are not as hard as they seem! NOW is the PERFECT TIME to take matters into your own hands... Most chronic illnesses are preventable by doing 2 simple things:
1. EAT A BETTER DIET! This means lean protein, lots of vegetables, some nuts, seeds, berries and fruits, and drink lots of water.
2. GET MORE EXERCISE! Walk, run, jump, swim, lift weights, ride your bike, do yoga, and have FUN!
A healthy lifestyle doesn't require 100% adherence, 100% of the time. That strictness usually leads to failure.
Instead try following the 70/30 rule:
Eat right and exercise about 5 days per week, roughly 70% of the time. That will leave you some "wiggle" room for those times you want to enjoy life a little!
