Check out this list of LA-based opps to give back in my bio.... and of course, don’t forget to check out @citizensclimatelobbynh ‘s page!! .

The rewards of self belief have turned me into an addict.
They say being obsessed or addicted to something isn’t good. I’d have to disagree. There is nothing wrong with believing in yourself and obsessing over your goals no matter what anyone says.
Ever since I can remember, I always knew I could be the best at anything I wanted to do. It was only 9 years ago I became obsessed with my goals. There is no combination as powerful as believing in yourself and being addicted to your goals.
There are no rules to this game. Someone just made up the 10,000 hour rule, it’s no guarantee for success. Whether it takes 10, 10,000 or 100,000 hours, I’m focused on accomplishing my goals. Don’t stop until it finished, that’s the motto.
I come from a long line of badass women. My mother was a navy lieutenant, my grandmother ran a schoolhouse by herself, my sister graduated MIT at 20 with a degree in astrophysics, and my aunt is in the FBI. But thinking back on that, I realize that these strong women who held positions of power or showed incredible intellect might have very impressive resumes, but they are not the only badasses. There is also my great aunt who was a nun for most of her life. My best friend who is going to be a life-changing mother. My family friend who had to make a difficult decision in order to do what was right for her.
Women are powerhouses. We are the mitochondria. And the cell needs us. (I mean the White House. The White House is the cell. It was a 5th grade science joke. Ok you get it.) It is an earth-shattering time. So many qualified and intelligent women are running for the democratic ballot for the 2020 election and it is SO IMPORTANT that we all vote this time around.
Start now! Do your research! Save this country! A good place to start is this fantastic article introducing the women running for office (link in bio) It explains why they are not only the best women for the job, but the best people.
Because that's what we are; people. And pretty badass ones at that.
