Where is Zambia? . Zambia is a landlocked country in central Africa. It is the 39th largest country in the world (slightly larger than Texas) with a population of around 16 million. There are 20 National Parks and 34 game management areas in the country. Around 30% of Zambia’s over 468,000 miles (752,614 sq kilometers) is reserved for wildlife. The main local language is Nyanja followed by Bemba although English is the official language. Zambian Kwacha is the currency used. October 24th is Independence Day and a major National Holiday. This country is full of an abundance of natural resources and wonders such as huge rivers, amazing wildlife, spectacular waterfalls, vast open spaces and the most wonderful people!

Как я начала рисовать карты Наверно у многих был советский атлас "Мир и человек". В детстве это была одна из моих любимых книг! Моё увлечение путешествиями и картографией началось именно с него. ⠀ Помню, я часами могла сидеть и разглядывать его красочные страницы. Континенты, страны, животные, камни, космос - всё это исследовали маленькие мальчик и девочка. И я мечтала быть как они ;) ⠀ Первую карту я нарисовала на конкурс открыток в 2015 году. Многим она хорошо известна - это карта России от Москвы до Владивостока. Я много думала про рисование карт, но не могла определить для них применение. И только в 2017, влюбившись, я нарисовала Камчатку. А позже - открытку с картой Хабаровска для @artpression . И почувствовала, что меня накрывает! Душа требует больше карт. My passion for travel and cartography began with him. I remember I was can to look at its colorful pages for hours. A little boy and a girl was explored continents, countries, animals, stones, space. I wanted to be like them. ;)The first map I drew for the postcard contest in 2015. It is a map of Russia from Moscow to Vladivostok. I thought a lot about drawing maps, but I couldn't figure out how to use them. And only in 2017, falling in love, I drew Kamchatka. And later - a postcard with a map of Khabarovsk for @artpression . And I felt that I got! Soul requires more maps. To be continued...
