The best part about camping out at the dunes is the minimal light pollution. I made an effort on my previous trip to shoot some star trails before the giant full moon took over the sky. This was only a 1 minute exposure since time was limited and I wasn’t sure what a proper exposure would be. Honestly, I have no idea how to meter shots like this but thankfully it worked out. (Unfortunately Instagram was being a pain in the ass yesterday and only allowing followers to see this post so let’s try this again. Yeah still not working. I give up)
