One of the biggest challenges I find when sticking to a fitness program is travelling/social settings.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people go to the extent of avoiding these situations completely so they can stick to their plans. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However I strongly believe you can find a balance between sticking to the plan and making meals and nutrition work so you don’t have to miss out on living too!!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s 5 tips to help you stick to your macros:
1. Know your macros: it’s important to know what macros you need to consume so that you can make the right decisions when ordering food outside of your meal prep. Use your coach or trainer to explain things properly so that you understand right from the start of your program.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Planning: when going to a restaurant or cafe with friends check out the menu online before arriving. Determine what you can eat or what you need to order so that you don’t feel pressured on the spot and order whatever you think you can eat. Take the guessing out of the equation so that you know you are on target.

3. Pick up some groceries: when travelling away from home swing past the supermarket and grab some staples of your meal plan when you arrive to your destination, so that you know you will be getting the food that may be difficult to get when out. Prep some basic meals with those ingredients and take them with you when you head out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4. Make your friends and family aware that you are on a strict nutrition plan so that they understand and can help when it comes to decision making of places to go. It helps to have their support so you don’t feel like a total weirdo when asking for specific changes to your order.

5. Stick to your plan but don’t be too hard on yourself. Being social and outside you meal prep zone can and should still be an enjoyable experience. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

People always ask about avocados and isn’t it “too much fat?” they’re healthy, “but they’re still a fat” “how can you eat so much in one day?”
Yes, I eat avocado toast every single day. No, I don’t eat an entire avocado every day, I have about half. BUT, even if I did eat a whole avocado they are extremely nutritious ✨
Some health benefits of this delicious food:
⭐️ they contain 20 different vitamins and minerals like vitamin K, B5, B6 & E, magnesium, iron and copper
⭐️ they don’t contain any cholesterol
⭐️ loaded with oleic acid which is a monounsaturated fatty acid that is heart healthy and helps reduce inflammation

i heard that weightlifting makes you bulky and that yoga is just stretching but... anybody who says that can kiss my asana .
today i floated into pincha after putting it on the back burner for a few weeks. sometimes we work so hard to get into poses we aren’t ready for that we lose the point altogether. yoga is a journey, not a destination. happy sunday, y’all ✌ .
