Hi everyone! That’s my face. I realize nearly all of you did not follow me a year ago, so I thought I’d take a moment to share a few things you may not know about me. So...I go by “Natalie.” I’ve led several lives in several places but “home” will always be Minnesota. I drive with the windows down no matter the season, and my personality evolves depending on what music is on. If I were an ice cream flavor, I’d be salted caramel. If I were a wine, I’d be a blend. I love food. And not just in the way that earned me the nickname “disposal” in college. Quality food made with heart makes my soul dance. I can recite lines from Lord of the Rings in elvish. Yes, I took heat for this in junior high, and no, it did not stop me. No matter how inappropriate, I will always giggle when someone farts. I giggle a lot actually. I’m passionate. I feel things with intensity - joy, beauty, empathy, the energy of everyone in the room. In a way it’s really beautiful, but in a way it’s also challenging. I love humans. I love sunrises, learning, shoes, silliness, authentic conversations & old paper maps. But I despise labeling, fluffy mattresses, and inefficient airport lines. I want to help people. I want to create art. I learned the hard way you don’t know your own character until faced with adversity. And I like what I learned about mine. I’m currently grateful for too many things to list. But one is the women in my family. I’m currently struggling with too many things to list. But one is being spread too thin to give my best to the kind of meaningful, creative work I long to do. But I’m practicing patience. And I’m full of hope & excitement for the path I’m on. I dislike many things about social media. But I’m here because I want to connect. And because I hope I can use it for good. I’m still navigating that big question: “How?” but I think I’m getting close. Lastly, I’m thankful for all of you for being here, being curious, and being open. And also, I’m wearing makeup in this photo. Makeup, a sweater, earrings. Just no pants.

A fresh take on Hollow Rock I was amazed at how cool the rocks underneath the water are here. Getting an underwater camera casing was one of the best decisions I could have made. It’s opened up a whole new world of unique perspectives at some of these popular locations. Can’t wait to spend more time in the water now that it’s warming up!
