I have some exciting news to finally share with you all! This is going to be long. So keep reading ... As you know I’ve been enjoying the freelance life the last few years. I just want to say it’s been an amazing ride. I have literally been living in God’s provision and have done some amazing things, met amazing people, and have gone some amazing places. Many of staff job offers have come my way. And I have taken all of them with serious consideration. Ultimately God has always put on my heart the desire to do amazing production alongside staff and volunteers in a development culture. Well several years ago, this dude named Marvin Sinson asked me if I was ever available for weekends to mix audio, and if so to let him know. Well 2.5yrs ago I stepped into the freelance life and I called him and said hey Marvin, just so happens I’m free for weekends now. Years down the road, I have been blessed to be the FOH engineer every weekend for Water Of Life Community Church and it very much became my home church and community. Well I’m excited to tell you an opportunity to step back into a production/development role has been made available to me as I will officially join the Water of Life staff as Production Manager January 2019. It’s an amazing staff I already count so many as close friends. That and I am super excited to continue this partnership with @_vin_ and the entire media and worship staff to see what more is possible. So what of my other activities? Not much will change just scaled back a little, I will still continue to be an educator for Avid Inc, continue writing for the community, enjoy some photography travel, and a few select freelance projects will still continue. Thank you for all of my friends and community who have been praying for this journey. God is good! .

Sabato 29 Settembre.. I'm back!!

I spent a lot of time with my DT770’s on my head today while mixing and referencing some tracks. They really are a joy to listen to music through! And they are so honest! They sound very close to what I hear through my Yamaha HS8s monitors, so similar that when I take them off it’s not a huge shock to ears. Good midrange detail, just enough low end to be fun and exciting and smooth crisp highs that aren’t harsh (unless it’s a bad mix of course ) 10/10 recommend
