So this is a semi good example the problem we are having with Opal. It doesn’t look like an issue but it is an obsession. Just like dogs can become obsessed with chasing their tails in an unhealthy manner. Opal will pace and search for Pearl for hours. I can play with her and distract her a for a minute or two, I can distract her with treats. I separate them, I try and hold Opal to comfort her, I put the thunder shirt on her, given her natural meds and SSRI. Nothing helps when she’s like this and it’s dangerous. She will run into poles, couches, cabinets, walls, fences and more. Her poor head :( and it’s made Pearl very anxious and uncomfortable. Pearl doesn’t like coming inside because of it. ‍♀️ now, Opal does have her good days. Some days she has no issues I have no idea why and when my husband is gone she’s usually great. The worst part is when she barks for 15 mins straight, shes got the cutest worst bark ever lol. We love her and Pearl sooo much and refuse to give up just yet.
