The Lillan Dress continues to be one of the most dowloaded patterns of my shop. Did you know that I was super close not to launch this pattern because I had first Idoia ready? That summer I had an African refugee boy having vacation at my home and was not easy to manage to have everything ready to launch. At the end of the story was a good decision to do the extra effort for Lillan. I’ve not posted much lately as it’s been silly busy round here! All good though. Had to share some pics of this dress as I’m quite pleased with it It’s the @ikateecouture Stella dress with a simple smocked panel inserted into the bodice. When it came to lining the skirt - I used some gingham leftovers for a fun contrast. I’ve always thought smocking was really difficult but something like this was super quick. I have Lisa from @pinkhollybush for getting me started! Oh, and of course it had to a Liberty print

The last of my recent @ninaleelondon Carnaby dress spree! This one is in a soft jumbo cord and has Liberty pockets and @seasaltcornwall bias binding on the hem ☺️ Such a great pattern - I like the shift dress shape but the pockets and the bottom skirt pieces make it a bit different. There will be summer versions, I’m sure!

So very late to the @tillybuttons Cleo party I really didn’t think this for me but have actually worn it lots since I made it. I picked up this @orlakiely furnishing fabric for £10p/m at the knitting and stitching show ... and being me I added Liberty lawn for the facings I think the lining fabric might even be curtain lining too taken form the depths of my stash Quite pleased with my pattern matching down the sides and front pocket. I cut both the front and back on the fold making it a super quick make
