Monday mood. A sunny outlook but a little lost in the fog.

I’ve been really trying to step out of my comfort zone lately and shoot a lot of different things. In doing so I’m learning a lot about how powerful my camera really is. While trying to shoot birds I put my camera in crop sensor mode which eliminates 1.5x of my sensor. Having not done this to often I forgot to put it back and last week I shot three separate falls (two of which I’ve never been to before) in crop mode! I’m beyond upset over this .. Knowing dam well how much better these images could be! I’ve heard from a few friends on other bone head moves but I’d love to hear yours! #waterfallsfordays #longexposure #waterfall

Good morning everyone, wow what a beautiful morning on the coast. Years ago I would never shoot clear skies, especially with a wide angle. But my affinity for the telephoto has changed my stance to some degree (typically just utilizing the cusp of the horizon). The tide level was perfect on this morning early last month, and it was also very calm and cold, so I embraced the clear sky for this long exposure during twilight. I did so utilizing my new @leefilters 0.9 Reverse GND. I had to be very tender with the processing to avoid banding in the sky, but I managed to pull off an agreeable output.
