So often we only look at #anxiety as a reaction to situations happening in our lives:
Job loss.
Breakup.
Financial problems.
But the truth is we could be living completely happy, fulfilling lives and STILL suffer from high anxiety... and not know why?! Maybe it’s the ☕️, , and you consume.
Or mold in your home you don’t even know is there.
Or maybe you’ve been eating something SEEMINGLY HEALTHY but it doesn’t agree with your body.
And now your anxiety is through the roof and you need answers!
Anxiety comes from and shows up in MANY forms. If you can’t find a solution for how you’re feeling, it’s time to get answers, not excuses or distractions.
I don’t know if it’s @leefromamerica new hair cut or something is up with the moon but I haven’t been feeling all the good feels this week.
Digestion is off and afternoon anxiety has been kicking.
Reminding myself it will pass.

Cucumber Water

Cucumber water is extremely cooling and very handy to have around this time of year. Just cut up your Cucumbers, put in a jar, cover them with water, and sit in the fridge overnight. The Cucumber water on its own tastes so sweet and silky.
I add Strawberries because my son likes it better this way. ❤

Staying hydrated and cooled down with berries and cucumbers from the garden this time of year is really important in my family! Watch very closely for signs of overheating and find shade or fresh water to dip into when you get the feeling to cool off. ☀

They are trialing the removal of likes from posts here in Australia, and I am finding it weird so far I think I’m just used to seeing numbers! I think it’ll be great for creativity, and potentially stopping the spam of popular shots (let’s hope ), but for those of us who have a business here, I am interested how it will affect brand partnerships. I’d love to hear thoughts from anyone of the brand side, and how it’ll change who you partner with? Is engagement something you consider before partnering with someone? Or Do you just focus on the visuals?

Ingredients.
190g plain flour.
2 tsp baking powder.
1/2 tsp salt.
1 Tbsp lemon zest.
1 cup vegan yoghurt (the very thick kind).
2 tsp vanilla extract.
3/4 cup coconut sugar.
2/3 cup grape seed oil.
2 x nectarines- stone removed and diced.
2 x nectarines- stone removed and sliced into wedges.
1/4 cup apricot jam.

Method.
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease an 8 inch pan, and line with baking paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add yoghurt, vanilla, sugar and oil. Mix well.
3. Sift in flour, baking powder and salt, and add zest. Mix together until combined, then add diced nectarines and gently fold through.
4. Pour into prepared pan. Use a spoon to smooth out, then top with sliced nectarine and a handful of blackberries (optional). Bake 1 hr- 1 hr 10mins, or until cooked.
5. Remove from oven. Brush the cake with apricot jam. Allow to cool 5 mins before turning onto a wire rack to cool completely.
6. ENJOY!!
