I guess I have addressed this protein deficiency issue so many times, still some people need to hear this again. So, Baby where’s the protein .

My counter question to you .

▶️ How much protein do you think you need ? .
Ideally, typical active person ( please don’t put yourself in #athlete category unless you train more than 4-5 hours/day) the protein requirement is 1.2-1.5 X Body Weight gm/day.

So; someone 50 kgs between 60-75 gm in a day.

▶️ How do you calculate protein intake ? .

Yes, grain based plant foods have all three Marcos, so if you counted Roti in only carbs it had protein and All Dals have protein. So, the meal you see in the picture is a perfect post workout food.
. ▶️ But what about all these Carbs you eat ?

Carbs are life, yes they are the major source of energy and not all are bad you need to understand what carbs are good. Whole complex carbs can’t do you any harm if you eat them ( off course don’t overeat ) .
. ▶️ Then , why is everyone telling you to have more protein ?.

Supplements and Nutraceuticals is a Billion Dollar industry trainers, nutritionists, influencers are all paid money to promote supplements. Not demeaning anyone doing it, I too promote some clothing/lifestyle brands but the necessity created around supplements is a myth. Plus these companies pay for a lot of research projects to prove so called ‘protein deficiencies’. In fact if you consume excess protein , it would be converted to glucose by the body. सोचो proteins में भी Calories है !

Bottom-line : have you ever seen a horse it’s so beautiful and muscular and sexy. Guess what they are #vegan and चने खाते हैं घोड़े So, guys when it comes to your food, simplify things and eat normal food, good health, muscles etc would be a byproduct . .

Messy hair completely drained out #postworkout photo, I am so tired I can fall asleep writing, but happy with what I see. Your body would be an outcome of the love you give it ♥️.

▶️I am surprised at my maintenance of muscle I started weight training 6 days ago after a gap of almost 3 months , I was doing some body weight Workout and #yoga at home but just 20 mins each day nothing fancy. .
▶️ I have never quit eating clean ....never. not eating a nutritious diet is non-negotiable. My intake might have reduced when I wasn't working out as much but meals were clean and Nutrition filled, mostly simple Dal , chawal , roti. .
▶️ I don't eat out as much , I restrict the number of meals outside of home, no junk and absolutely nothing processed. Infact I was recently in a meditation retreat and was surprised when they were serving processed food fortunately I could chose to run .

Long weekend shouldn't mean being a couch potato get up cook yourself some really nice fresh meal and then do some physical activity for 20 mins .
