Leaf it to them: If you've ever taken a seat on this bench located at the sky deck at the North Spine Plaza, you might have realised that there are charging ports for your devices. Named "Fern", this wooden bench designed by #NTUsg Art, Design and Media grads Liew Ming Jia, Jin Su Huan and Eugene Tan converts ☀️ solar energy into ⚡️ electrical power. Functional and aesthetic, that's fern-tastic indeed! : @nic.yeo

Spiral of success: This #NTUsg art installation by sculptor Sun Yu-li (@sunyulisculptures) and ERI@N is called Reaching High. The art piece was presented at the TorchUp! Festival at the 28th Southeast Asian Games in 2015. Now it stands tall at the NTU Sports and Recreation Centre as a symbol of inspiration for all our athletes. : @nic.yeo

"Through The Lens: Colours Across Seven Continents" is a sample collection of photographic works by Professor Subra Suresh, created during his visits to countries across the globe. His works embody an intuitive awareness of the surrounding natural and built environment, a spontaneity in capturing the beauty of a fleeting moment — whether aboard a city taxi, or in mid-air on a US Airforce plane, carrying the members of a special government mission. These works are now shared with the NTU Community. Do not miss your chance to view these deeply personal works by NTU President and Distinguished University Professor Subra Suresh!
Visit the Marketplace at North Spine Plaza from 23 February to 5 March 2018.
