Picture perfect . . FINALLY one family photo! We've been trying to get a nice photo of us and the brats together from a long time. It finally happened today :) Usually, Audi or me have to always be behind the camera to get their attention, but the staff at the resort was kind enough to help with that today. So the road trip is now over and we're all back home. The puppies had lots of fun and are now in hibernation mode . . A few things to keep in mind while traveling with your dogs (especially for the first time): - A trip to your vet to make sure they are ok to travel. Start of with small trips first. They're not used to sitting in a moving vehicle for so long, so breaks are important. Once every 2 hours is good. - I carried a few of their toys because it made them feel at home even outside. The familiar smell helped them in settling down better. - Preferably have a spacious car. The @nissan_india kicks was perfect for this trip. It gave the brats enough space to sleep or stretch. Also, each of them took up one window seat. Proving that they are Audi's children who are big window seat hogs just like he is - Don't just let your dogs off the leash suddenly. Make sure they know the commands and will listen to you when you call them back. Just for the safety of your pets :) Also, don't get agitated when you're finding it hard to take care of them. It's their first time on a holiday as well so please be patient with them. - Different place, different water and food can cause tummy upsets. Don't panic. Just give them really light food so it's easily digested. Especially before they have to go on a drive. . . So just a few pointers from our first experience. Hope it helps someone in the future :) I'm so happy we did this trip and so ecstatic that we have this photo for memory :) I'm holding the babies and Audi is holding me.
