I believe that it’s often conveniently easy to find/produce happiness, and because of that, it’s most of the time short lived. Before I start this caption, I want to give a very special shout out to my friend, Herpetologist Glen Lübcke. Without him, I wouldn't be sharing this information with you right now. What I am holding here, is a California mountain Kingsnake. Found in certain parts of northern, southern California and small parts of Oregon. The most common place to find them near the Bay Area, is in the Santa Cruz mountains. Very secretive snake. Just like their cousins, the ( common ) California Kingsnake with black and white bands, they eat other snakes including venomous Rattlesnakes. These snakes are non-venomous, but are known for having, highly venomous coral snake mimicry colors, but the difference between the color of the coral and Kingsnake is, on the coral, the red touches yellow, and on the Kingsnake, the red touches black. I now have two California mountain Kingsnakes to take on my Trap Nature workshop tour, all thanks to my friend Glen.
