Very cloudy day and yes Moraine Lake is still frozen at 2/3 of its surface! Presence of the road makes us forget that it is still at 1884 meters of altitude. See my other picture of same place taken higher yesterday in my account (@grigri_mountain_photography) This one gives a perspective of the still frozen lake. This photo was taken at the bottom of the lake. yes! It's long before you see spring coming! Fortunately several other lakes are free of ice but for all those of 1600 meters above sea level will have to wait at least 2 more weeks. La présence de la route nous fait oublier qu’il est quand même à 1884 mètres d’altitude . Cette photo a été prise au bas du lac . Oui ! Que c’est long avant de voir venir le printemps ! Heureusement que plusieurs autres lacs sont libres de glace mais pour tous ceux de 1600 mètres d’altitude et plus il faudra attendre au moins 2 autres semaines .
