As promised, to cap off the year, here are my 9 personal favorite BW IG images over the past year. I thoroughly enjoy editing and finishing images in black and white since it allows the viewer to focus more on the lines, textures, shades, etc rather than being caught up in the color or vibrance. How do you ensure you make time for your hobbies? *** Photography serves as my creative outlet and stress reliever throughout my otherwise hectic life. As a result, I do my best to make time for it. My strategy is to actively pencil it in much like I do with the gym. Sometimes this means finding a composition and location on my way to work in the morning or on my way home after. Unfortunately, the traffic in Portland is absolutely brutal and doesn’t always lend itself to allowing for the driving flexibility. *** During this specific morning, I drove over to St. John’s Bridge before heading to work which was only doable because the traffic was so minimal at that early hour. I waited at the pedestrian island for the perfect set of cars. I have shot car trails at St. Johns in the past but never had that perfect timing of a truck followed by multiple cars across both directions.
