The frog stretch. A great way to open up the inner thigh and mobilize the adductor tissue. If you’re sitting for long periods throughout the day - this stretch may be a great way to open up your hips!

- Start by getting on all 4s. Next, you will slowly separate your knees until you feel a stretch sensation on your inner thighs. Do not force your knees out in this position - take what your body gives you. From here - you will slowly sink your chest to the floor and sit your hips back while training to maintain a relatively flat back. Once you find a good stretched position, simply hang out. Take some deep breaths and let your body get used to this position. I like to rock backwards and also get some mid back and arm movement by slowly rotating each arm upwards making sure to keep my knees firmly planted on the ground. Try to maintain this position for a good 2+ minutes.

- if you’re familiar with the traditional child’s pose stretch - this is very similar - just utilizes a position to mobilize the inner thigh tissue. Try to get into this position a couple times a day and see how your hips feel! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments!
