Grip strength is super important. Especially for calisthenics athletes! Almost every exercise you perform will active you grip.
Having a strong grip will increase your overall strength significantly
Routine:
-5 sec hang per arm
-3x switch in one set
-30 seconds rest between sets

• How to fix the Handstand •

♂️Is the “banana handstand” a wrong movement? Well, my philosophy behind movement is that there is not a “right” or “wrong” position, however, there is for sure more efficient ways to perform a particular movement.

♂️We aim for the “straight line handstand” for 2 main simple reasons:
⠀
1. It is more aesthetically acceptable by society today. (Banana handstands used to be a golden standard back in the old days)
⠀
2. It is “safer” (this depends), but most importantly it is more efficient to have all your joints stacked together when upside down (same way we aim for a good posture when standing)

I could endlessly talk about the subject but whether you want to get a “straight handstand” because it looks nicer or because you understand the benefits of it, @fitnessfaqs and I will dive deep into this subject and show you all the limitations that causes you to eat bananas and all the compensations your body makes in order to keep your body in balance while eating bananas .
