These are the “Reiki Principles” written by Mikao Usui (more about him soon). When you start to study Reiki, these become the cornerstones of your daily life. Seemingly simple suggestions for keeping it real, and good. They are also very forgiving, as when you mess up, you can forgive yourself and start over. It’s helpful for staying in the moment and not gathering guilt or regret. Each day is a fresh start, I often say these 5 intentions 3 times over as I’m waking up, like a little chant, before the busy begins. Doesn’t always work, I often loose the thread of being calm and peaceful, but they help me to get back on track. That’s the point I guess, accepting that perfection is a myth and just pushing on with the best of intentions. Magic can be found in everything if you allow yourself to see it!
