Let's Wish A Happy Birthday to our legendary guitarist Mr. BUCKETHEAD. Brian Patrick Carroll (born May 13, 1969), known professionally as Buckethead, is an American musician who has worked within many genres of music. His music spans many diverse areas such as progressive metal, funk, blues, bluegrass, ambient, and avant-garde music. The emotion that he pours into his music can be felt so clearly and it ranges from song to song. However, he does have a very unique style of playing and because of some of the advanced theory he’s worked into his playing. Buckethead is a killer shredder so he dominates different techniques as alternate picking, legatos, sweep picking and tapping. Buckethead is famous for wearing a KFC bucket on his head, and an expressionless plain white mask, which according to Buckethead was inspired by his seeing Halloween 4. The bucket idea came later that night while eating Kentucky Frid Chicken. As an instrumentalist, Buckethead has received critical acclaim for his electric guitar playing, and is considered one of today's more innovative guitarists. And our legendary guitar solo of the day is the solo performed in "SOOTHSAYER" by the legend himself. "Soothsayer", a song by Buckethead from Crime Slunk Scene album released in 2006. The track "Soothsayer" has become one of Buckethead's more popular songs, and is very frequently played live. This is a song dedicated to Buckethead's Aunt Suzie.
