Finally, here's some robo-submarine for the last part, can be useful when we need to dive the deep sea with style. Well I think that concludes our March of Robots 2019. Hope I can make it again next year. Thanks!

The French Navy’s aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle and its strike group have joined the operations of the US-led coalition against the Daesh, the US Central Command said in a statement earlier in March. The carrier strike group consists of the Aircraft carrier Charles-de-Gaulle, the Danish frigate Daniel Juel, and an attack submarine among other assets, according to the statement.
Syrian Watchdog Urges to Hold US-Led Coalition Accountable for Baghuz Bombing
The French air carrier group has already conducted three previous missions since January 2015 in support of the US-led coalition.
The US-led coalition of more than 70 members has been conducting military operations against the Daesh terrorist group in Syria and Iraq since September 2014. The coalition’s activities in Syria are authorized neither by the Syrian government, nor by the UN Security Council.

WASHINGTON (AP) — China's first domestically built aircraft carrier is likely to enter into service this year, marking another advance in Beijing's ability to project influence well beyond its shores, the Pentagon said Thursday in an updated assessment of Chinese military power.
The report to Congress comes amid increased emphasis by the Pentagon on adjusting to what it sees as an emerging challenge from China not only in naval strength but also in cyber capabilities, space power and missile technologies.
Last year the Pentagon declared strategic competition with China and Russia to be its top priority, shifting from a focus on fighting extremist groups and insurgencies that began with the invasion of Afghanistan after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
Thursday's report mostly recapped a range of Chinese efforts to strengthen its military. "Over the coming decades, they are focused on realizing a powerful and prosperous China that is equipped with a 'world-class' military, securing China's status as a great power with the aim of emerging as the pre-eminent power in the Indo-Pacific region," it said.
In predicting that China's first domestically built aircraft carrier will join the fleet this year, the report said the Chinese navy "continues to develop into a global force, gradually extending its operational reach beyond East Asia into a sustained ability to operate at increasingly longer ranges." The carrier began sea trials a year ago.
The only aircraft carrier in China's current naval fleet, the Liaoning, was bought as a mostly empty hull from Ukraine in 2002 and commissioned in 2012. China says aircraft carriers are needed to protect its coastline and trade routes.

Atlantic Wolf - Concept Artwork
.
Here’s my first artwork piece from a waterline perspective with a cold-blue tone to best convey the cold Atlantic setting.
Still working on a title design, want to keep it simple. .

If you've ever walked through a cloud of gnats, you'll know what a nuisance a swarm can be.
On the sea, Navy vessels occasionally encounter swarms as well, in the form of tiny, less-than-friendly enemy boats. Navy destroyers, cruisers and littoral combat ships are powerful weapon systems, but a dozen or more tiny boats, each with a cache of weapons, can be a problem for large, less-agile vessels. And big Navy ships are not optimized to fight dozens of boats shooting from different angles.
That kind of problem is why Matt Ward, a researcher with the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Port Hueneme, California, is developing "SWARM-Tac." He explained the motive for the project during Defense Department Lab Day at the Pentagon, April 25. "Some of our adversaries use lots of small boats to kind of harass our ships," Ward said. "While we have a single, high-capability ship, they will have a lot of these small craft that may not have as [powerful] weapons, but just a significant number of them. What [we're] trying to do is use machine learning and artificial intelligence to generate tactics for the ship to maximize its probability of success against that type of an attack." SWARM-Tac is software, Ward said. The AI-driven technology ingests sensor information already available on a Navy ship — radar and other things used to give sailors situational awareness of what's going on around them, as well as information about the ship itself, its available weapons, and the number of attackers.
