☀️ ⁣⁣ Lets talk about Sunscreen!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Its that time of year again, bbqs, sunsets, beach days, hiking, camping... ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Will sunscreen effect my spray tan?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ There’s 2 ingredients you want to avoid, oil and alcohol. Alcohol and the oils used in sunscreen are very drying to the skin and will break down/fade your spray tan.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Easy right? Until your standing in front of 5 million sunscreens overwhelmed about where to start.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Firstly, you want to make sure you have a broad spectrum sunscreen,not just for spray tans, in general! You also want to chose SPF 30 or higher.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ What is broad spectrum? ⁣⁣ Broad spectrum SPF basically protects the skin from BOTH UVA ad UVB rays. Even with a high SPF, if it isn’t broadspectrum, your not protected from all UV rays. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Sun Bum ⁣⁣ My personal favourite and is also recommended by the Skin cancer foundation and is also a best seller on Amazon. It is an all natural, oil free, vegan and cruelty free product with a tropical scent and Tancouver is ALL about that! I got mine at @shoppersdrugmartofficial .⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2. ☀️⁣ We all know we have to apply SPF, but what does it all actually mean?!?!⁣ #SPFISYOURBFF ⁣ SPF rating is based on how long your sunscreen protected skin takes to redden when exposed to UV, compared to unprotected skin.
