“Good God... I’m on Mars!“ John Carter • The movie “John Carter” (2012) with Taylor Kitsch (@taylorkitsch) in the title role is largely based on the book “Princess of Mars”. The entire river sequence of the movie was shot in Lake Powell in Southern Utah.
