#TransparencyTalk This month has been filled with excitement followed by distress. Titles mean nothing when life comes knocking. It’s all about how you utilize your lessons learned up to earning your title/ goals that makes all the difference. Grow through it, and keep going. I’m just happy I don’t look like what I’ve been through this month! #Humbled

#TransperencyTalk 03: . . . I’m sure you all know the Quote, “If you look good, you feel good.” Well...I call bs on that. . . . In today’s society we’re in a juxtaposition of what it means to look and feel good. There’s a lot of people that look good on Instagram so they can get validation from people they don’t even know (and probably don’t care) to make themselves look and feel good. There’s a lot of people getting plastic surgery to change how they look to appease to what society thinks looks good when the people they look up to are doing the EXACT SAME THING so they can maintain what they think it means to look good. Not to mention the fact that people are buying followers for a personal page....like how you have 10k but 50 likes on a photo...really? That ain’t the algorithm... But that’s a whole other #TransparencyTalk so let’s continue lol . . . In one corner you have skinny people finding ways to get bigger/thicker, then you have bigger/thicker people chasing ways to get skinny. Meanwhile you have people who actually are overweight or skinny loving themselves and are more confident in themselves than most people their own size. And loving their flaws all at the same time! Look at @jstlbby @rickeythompson and @mynameisjessamyn Like they’re AMAZING! And I believe it’s because they found/continuing to find their true identity within themselves and are now continually loving themselves for who they are NOW, because they understand who they are from the inside. . . . I don’t believe that if you look good, you feel good. In my opinion if you feel good internally, you look good! I’ve been feeling good by reading, working out ‍♀️, meditating‍♀️, praying , maintaining relationships with people I love ❤️ , and reflecting on how I can make a difference in this world with the talent God has given me ‍. Whatever makes you feel good, hey do you! You got it. BUT if you’re chasing looks for validation to make yourself feel good, when internally you feel like crap...that feeling that you expect to feel when/if society gives you their approval that you look good, will never be enough. ‍♀️‍♀️

#TransparencyTalk: 01 So I was this closeto posting a pitty party sob story quote about how heartless this world is. But despite how heartless it may be, it’s the ones who have the biggest hearts that change the world for the better. . . . And on some real, it really sucks pouring your heart into people that take it for granted. (I can only imagine what Jesus was going through when he died on the cross for all of us). Or proving yourself to people who aren’t even worthy of your time. I feel like I’ve been going through this all my life. But at the end of the day, heartless people break people down, because they’re broken (knowingly and unknowingly). And those who have a big heart are the most resilient people on the planet. Because not only do they give their heart when they don’t have to, but when it gets broken, they know how to build themselves up into something even better than before. And believe it or not, the ones who did take you for granted are probably seeking whatever it is that you gave them in someone else, but they can never find that because you my friend, are one of a kind. . . . So let me reintroduce myself.
