We are all wrapped on the CBS re-branding campaign! It’s been a long haul and I am super impressed with the looks we have built. This was one of our last set ups. Shot on the Ursa Mini 4.6k with the Zeiss 28mm and 1/4 HBM filter. Key light was loosely motivated by the green Ikea lamp, which was the Ledgo g260, Falcon eyes 2x2 and Icelight pushing through an 8x8 of artificial silk. The key and cam were rated around 5000k to let the practicals go a little warm without giving too much colour separation. The reason for all the level is I had 3 stops of ND in to keep the practical overheads from blowing out and bring down room tone. We then blacked out the overheads that we couldn’t control with black strips from Fabricland, used an Aputure mx as a hairlight strapped to the ceiling and a red bulb in the mid-ground to add depth! I’m excited to be DP on a new project for the Ontario College of Teachers. Huge thanks to @thearcheryclub for having me out! All of us have to shoot interviews at some point, so when you walk into a room with this many lines and symmetry you can’t not embrace it! Shot on the Ursa mini 4.6k with the Sigma 18-35 and 1/4 HBM filter. SETUP: Keylight was an Ledgo g260, aputure 300d with grid and an icelight for an edge from keyside. All of those were pushed through an 8x8 of artificial silk. Neg was brought in camera right and a small bounce v flat was utilized to lift eye socket and neck shadows. The 2 yellow practicals were added to further add to the symmetry! [KILLER COMBO] With @coyullfilms **READ** NIGHTVISION!!! Let me give you the low-down. This is a @sony a7SII (a low-light champion) with a @angenieuxlenses 50mm f/0.95!! Did you get that 0.95!! It was wonderfully rehoused by @zerooptik. It’s a Cinema combo that laughs in the face of darkness. You can light up a scene with just a great personality. The lens is built stiffer than Winston Churchill’s upper lip and that Sony is protected by a @tiltamax camera cage (one of my favorites) so you know you can go into battle and come out with all your limbs still attached. I love it and I would give anything to test it out. Thanks to @_becine_ for making it possible to even see this. .
