Ana @anasallesfitness and I are trying to be an example to Sofia towards a healthy lifestyle. Sofia loves eating broccoli and a green beans without any seasoning and with olive oil as well. Everyday she eats some apple and orange, and in the morning oats with banana and chia seeds. She's a vegetarian for now. We do not give her meat, fish or eggs. She’s tried eggs and fish once but quickly spit them out. For now, she drinks goat milk and we have recently introduced yogurt to her diet. Her doctor said that she is growing like a champion (she has the height of a 2 and a half toddler), she is healthy and really active for her age.⠀

Она у нас вегетарианка, мясо, рыбу и яйца мы ей специально не даем, она пробовала яйца, но быстро их выплюнула, рыбу пробовала тоже, она ей не больше понравилась. До сегодняшнего дня пьет детское питание на козьем молоке, недавно попробовала йогурт! По всем показателям она здоровый ребенок, доктор саазал, растет чемпионка, очень активная и высокая для своего возраста девочка.

Breakfast Eggs and Potatoes (10m+)

INGREDIENTS:
▫️️1 grated sweet potato
▫️️1 grated russet potato
▫️️1 small chopped onion
▫️️Salt and pepper to taste
▫️️Olive oil
▫️️2 eggs
.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix all the ingredients together
2. Put a little olive oil in the Kiddo Feedo tray cups
3. Fill the cups with the egg & potato mixture,
until about 3/4 full
4. Bake at 240°C/460°F for 1 hour,
or until eggs are fully cooked
5. Serve and enjoy!

Hi guys, how are you all doing? I apologize for not being active on insta lately because of lots of reasons. The biggest reason is I dropped my phone in the water during my stay at India and didn't have access to it for more than two weeks. :-( Anyway, we had awesome time with the family back home however we all came back to UAE yesterday. We just picked up few things from the local supermarket and I put this meal together for my son. Chapati, black eye beans curry with the lentils broth. I drizzled ghee on the broth and chapati. Lentils broth is great protein source for the vegetarians so I offer this with most of his meals.
My son was too tired to eat but this meal went down pretty okay. We ate the same curry for our lunch too. Sometimes just the simple food is all you need to make your soul happy, right? :-) Take care guys!

It's veggie time!

The fun thing about this #recipe is that you can blend the ingredients for a longer or shorter period of time for desired consistency. Here is a three ingredient recipe that is rich in dietary fiber, protein, iron, potassium and loads more. It's plant based, and also butter free and oil free.

Ingredients:
▫️1/2 cup cooked peas
▫️1 large sweet potato
▫️Handful of baby spinach
.
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven at 425º.
2. Thoroughly scrub your sweet potato
3. Wrap it in foil, or place covered in an oven safe dish
4. Pick throughout it with a knife
5. Bake for 40 minutes, or until you can easily pierce through it with a knife
6. Let cool, remove the skin with your hands (slides off easily)
7. Set aside
8. Wash your spinach well in cold water
9. Steam for 2 minutes
10. Set aside
11. If your peas are frozen, cook according to directions. If they are canned, drain and rinse well
12. Blend all ingredients together
13. Serve
.
I froze the remaining portions in my @kiddofeedo Freezer Tray. To defrost️ the frozen food, I leave them in the refrigerator overnight.
