Quello che però allo stesso tempo mi affascina, sono le storie che, nascoste tra le colonne di templi e giardini, nutrono la mia curiosità. Il Giardino dell’Umile Amministratore ha visto la luce dopo 16 anni di lavoro. Dopo la morte dell’umile funzionario che lo costruì, non senza sacrifici, il giardino passò in eredità al figlio. E lui pensò bene di perderselo una notte al gioco d’azzardo. Bravo.

Xijiang Thousand Miao Families Ethnic Village 贵州西江千户苗寨 in Guizhou surprises us with fantastic scenery as always. The village got the name due to there are almost 1,300 Miao ethnic families living here. Do you know how many ethnic people groups China has? 56! Guizhou is a place with many different ethnic people groups! . INFORMATION According to the latest statistics, there are about 1,288 families with a total population of around 6,000 people living there. 99.50% of the local people are Miao. . There are several villages, however Xijiang (West River in English) is the largest one. In China Miao culture is best preserved here. Xijiang is located on the north side of Leigong Hill, about 35 kilometres from Kaili, capital in Qiandongnan area and about 260 kilometres from Guiyang, capital of Guizhou Province. One of China's province with many ethnic people groups. The area has Yangshuo to Southeast and Zhangjiajie to Northeast if you know those two places better. .
