Your body is primal at it’s core. It recognizing chicken, turkey etc as food and sources of nutrients. Your body will generally absorb a whole food’s amino acid’s better then protein bars and protein powders.
. . Less Negative Side Effects
Gas, nausea, bloating, headaches, nutrient deficiencies are all common side effects of protein shakes and other supplements. Whole foods will generally have way less potential for these side effects unless you have an allergy to the specific food.

. Fiber, Antioxidants, Satiety
Lets put up a scenario: You are going to workout in an hour. Person A is going to have a balanced meal with turkey breast, rice and a source of fat. Person B is going to have two protein bars and a protein shake. Who do you think is going to have a better workout? Person A 100%. The whole foods will take more time to digest in their bodies and provide more antioxidants then person B is getting.
