Anxiety levels are at an all time high
If we look back at even our grandparents generation there was a much lower percentage of people suffering from this. There was still lots of stress back then, many people were working more hours, most families were stricter than today’s family’s. In fact modern day England and America are probably some of the most sympathetic and compassionate countries in history. Yet anxiety and depression levels are through the roof
I believe this is because these countries have the most processed foods and sugars in the world. We are constantly injuring our guts. People have been constantly demonising animal foods since the mid 20th century. Many of us are brought up on soy baby formula which lack nutrients essential for brain growth and brain development
Doctors are constantly giving out antibiotics even when problems can be resolved without them. These drugs destroy our microbiome leading to gut dysbiosis and horrible Candida infections
When the gut is injured feel good hormones that are produced mainly in the gut have problem being sent to the brain along the gut brain axis
I think it’s about that we spread a message. A message that says we need to start eating whole food diets that are rich in animal foods with proper preparation of plant foods to keep up good physical and mental health

you cannot force someone to comprehend a message that they are not yet ready to receive, but never underestimate the power of planting a seed. #ketotarian .

A good night's sleep helps lower hunger, cravings, and balances blood sugar, decreasing the risk of pre-diabetes and high blood pressure. ⠀
⠀
Sleep is a major cornerstone for an energetic, joyful, healthy life.⠀
⠀
Unfortunately, it’s usually the first thing we compromise when life gets busy. ⠀
⠀
Shifting that mindset and realizing your sleep schedule is just as important as everything else on your calendar will have immense payoffs for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.⠀
⠀
A study in The Journal of clinical endocrinology and metabolism found just one partial night’s sleep could create insulin resistance, paving the path for diabesity and many other problems. While other studies show poor sleep contributes to cardiovascular disease, mood disorders, poor immune function, and lower life expectancy. ⠀
⠀
Here are four ways to achieve a better night’s sleep:⠀
⠀
1. GET ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE: Going to sleep and waking at the same time each day creates a rhythm for your body. Only use your bed for sleep or romance. Don’t keep a television in your bedroom: Studies show the artificial, bright light can disrupt brain activity and alter sleep hormones like melatonin. Your bedroom should be a quiet, peaceful haven.⠀
⠀
2. GET NATURAL SUNLIGHT: Aim for at least 20 minutes of sunshine every day, preferably in the morning, which triggers your brain to release chemicals that regulate sleep cycles. ⠀
⠀
3. USE AN ACCUPRESSURE MAT: This helps stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system and create deep relaxation. Lay on it for about 30 or more minutes before bed. ⠀
⠀
4. GET GROUNDED: At times, electromagnetic frequencies can impair sleep. I recommend turning off WiFi and keeping all of your electronic devices away from your bed. Create a common area charging station in your home and encourage all your family members to “check in” their devices before bed.⠀

The word inflammation is very popular these days.
People often tell you that inflammation is the cause of all disease and once it is gone you will have no more problems
However inflammation is just the body's response to you injuring something. Your body is becoming inflamed to stop further damage from occurring
Many doctors will give you anti-inflammatory drugs which can help with the pain. But you are not dealing with the root cause. If you keep doing the thing that caused the inflammation then it will keep coming back
You need to find and treat the root cause of it and then your body will stop becoming inflamed
All these gut disease all have “itis” at the end of each name. This just means inflammation. Therefore you are injuring a certain part of the gut which is causing it to become inflamed
How To Find The Root Cause Of Inflammation?
Each person will have different root causes of inflammation but here are some common causes
⚡️Excess sugar
⚡️Vegetable oils
⚡️ Eating too much
⚡️ Eating hard to digest foods
⚡️ Pathogens
⚡️ Plant anti nutrients
⚡️ Too much fibre
⚡️ Smoking
⚡️ Alcohol

@reunionfoods on point and Fat Cycling. For a great resource on fat cycling check out @kevinstock12 This past winter to break through my plateau in addition to training, I applied an approximate 2:1 ratio protein to fat, eating 2 to 4 lbs per day depending on hunger. This leaned me out and I reached a weight of 127 lbs. I am happy and feel good at this weight, the improved strength and endurance I have built. Currently I switched back to a #nosetotail #drprimalpaul approach with higher fat to protein which my nerves prefer and have maintained my weight. A mistake I learned I was making was not eating enough protein. I think this strategy works well in women looking to lean out. To obtain more fat, my number 1 tip is to heat up some tallow and put it in a bowl for dipping your meat. After you are done drink the remaining fat. I personally love EPIC bison and beef tallow. What do you guys think? What strategies have worked for you?
It’s true that contaminated water from underdeveloped countries is a common source of parasites. However, they are also frequently found in undercooked meat, unclean or contaminated fruits and vegetables, and lakes, ponds, or creeks. Some parasites can even enter the body by traveling through the bottom of your foot!
________
10 Signs You May Have a Parasite
• Unexplained constipation, diarrhea, gas, or other symptoms of IBS
• Trouble falling asleep or wake up multiple times during the night
• Skin irritation or unexplained rash, hives, rosacea, or eczema
• Grinding your teeth in your sleep
• Pain or aching in your muscles or joints
• Fatigue, exhaustion, depression, or frequent feeling of apathy
• Never feeling satisfied or full after your meals
• Diagnosis of iron-deficiency anemia
• Traveled internationally and remember getting traveler’s diarrhea while abroad
• History of food poisoning and ‘your digestion has not been the same since’
________
In this article, I go over what parasites are, what causes them, how to test for parasites, AND how to treat them. Follow the link in my bio to read more!

Are you a parent with picky toddlers?
@kids.eat.in.color is a must follow for practical information surrounding #momlife and feeding your children!
~⠀
I was a finicky child and hated vegetables growing up (sorry mom and dad ) I was one of those children that would not eat my food if another food touched it lol.
・・・
"Doing lots of veggie exposures and in fun ways, but kid still doesn't eat veggies." Another #foodbattles post for you!⠀
~⠀
Keep exposing veggies and serving lots of fruit in the meantime! You may have heard "fruit has sugar, so it needs to be limited." This is absolutely not true. Please don't limit unless there are digestive issues or medical reasons. Fruit is loaded with all the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber.⠀
~⠀
NOTE: Fruit juice is not a whole fruit. I recommend serving water as normal beverages and serving juice occasionally.
