When I was a kid I wanted to be a veterinarian . I just knew it would be SO great to be around animals all day! . These days... I couldn’t be happier that my actual job is to live my PASSION ! But somewhere, in an alternate universe, if I COULDN’T be a physical therapist... Sweet Luna. She lived her life on an industrial dairy farm. She was repeatedly impregnated and her babies then taken away one after the other so that she'd make milk for human consumption. She was also blind and living with painful eyes until Black Goat Sanctuary (@totes.the.goat) rescued her and asked me to help her by removing them. She now lives in peace surrounded by her caring guardians and other animals at her sanctuary. She walks freely in the grass and finds cozy places to lie down. She decides for herself how she spends her days. She bonded with a calf who lost his parents, and now they are inseparable. She's an amazing example of forgiveness, as she has every reason not to trust humans. Yet, she loves her chin scratched and the company of people. Bovines are beautiful, intelligent, gentle animals. Given the chance, they can live to their mid-twenties, much longer than they are usually allowed to live. Please go visit some of these wonderful animals at your local farm sanctuary; you'll quickly realize that they deserve better than how we treat them.
