, Hi everyone, Today I received the official price for “top surgery 2.0” as I like to call it. It is up to 6500£ sadly. In euro it gives 7500€ which is very high. I changed the goal of my campaign to 7000€ as I will work myself for the rest and for the addition hotel and stay price. A week ago I decided to share my chest with Instagram. And I’ve been overwhelmed by the feedback on this. I did create a gofundme, but I really did share the specific picture to let people know that being trans isn’t perfection. I wanted to share that it’s a permanent struggle. But I’m still very proud of who I am even though sometimes I truly hate it. It brought me a lot of people, a lot of fun and a lot of love and for that I am grateful. But it isn’t always so bright and today I want to let people know or remind them if they already know, that suicide attempts rate among transgender people is still in 2019 at a frightening 40%. Murder rates aren’t any better especially among trans women of color. If you feel down, if you need help, and if you can reach for it, please do. Even if you need to chat, call, anything. It’s a small action from me but I want to let you know that my DMs are open, video chat as well. You can also reach out to a LGBT+ center near you, associations, and phone lines that have been created for you. If you are an ally, a friend, a family member, a coworker of someone trans, a classmate, anything, and if you are aware of someone’s struggle. Don’t wait. Help out. I also want to say that even though today is trans day of visibility, every other day certainly is too. Don’t feel forced to come out today, don’t feel like you owe this day anything more than tomorrow or the day after. When you will be ready, you’ll know. Today, be proud of who you are because you are damn strong, and you are worth it.
